2025/26 Dwight McNeil

He tried his hardest to give away the 3 points there. Absolutely woeful, gave the ball and needles fouls away multiple times. Solid away performance that though on the whole, thankfully held on šŸ™šŸ»
He lost the ball really sloppily in our own box with a few mins left and then had to dive across to try and make the block.

I’m concerned he is going to be starting
on Sat now that Tim’s out. Seems a very different player to the one a few years ago for us.

Half the morons here haven't fot the mental capacity to change what they'd planned to type about McNeil. He did absolutely fine when he came on. Kept the ball, cwon the ball, passed the ball, blocked the ball. Not first choice any more but was absolutely acceptable tonight.
Watch him jog back after one move broke down tonight. About as fast, energetic and determined as a slug chasing a cheetah.

…..looks like his form is picking up just when we need him next month. Thought he did fine when introduced, it wasn’t so long ago he was one of our better players and if he can get back to that level it’ll be a big bonus.

That was his form picking up? Jogging around, being out muscled and giving a few 5 yard passes? We are in bother if this wet wipe starts on Saturday.

Some people have got a huge hangover from these relegation battle seasons. Really clouding their judgement on what's required from a decent footballer.

Did some good link up play in transitions but was completely unbothered when running back and may aswell not bothered. Really surprised Moyes plays this type of player
Doesn’t play him much to be fair. He clearly doesn’t fancy Dibling so he doesn’t really have a choice but to rotate McNeil in when he needs to change something

This isn't really a shot at Dibling, but coming on as a sub with a goal lead Dwight offers a lot more. Dibling needs a run of actual games but there didn't really seem to be any plan for him other than cover for injuries.

I like him in the middle of the park. We have a set midfield now but is Charlie better than him? Think he is a great asset and good rotational player as we slowly start to get a larger squad. Thought he looked out and also sloppy in the few mins he had.
