The reason we were fighting relegation in the first place, was signing players like McNeil. He was instrumental, but so was doucoure, so was Pickford, so was Coleman etc I’ve heard them all even Ashley young for blocking one off the line at the end of the Bournemouth game

Wasn’t young it was Connor Coady, but you get my point.

Like it or not, he was instrumental in keeping us up during the dark days. Felt like there were times he was the only player who knew how to score in the team.

We should get a decent fee for him given his age and experience. Would be really disappointed if it was below £10million given the market, especially for English players his age. It’s the right time for him to move on.

he’s only going to end up at one of the other struggling sides in the league that’s his level and even then it might be a tough task getting rid the salary we’ve probably given him here ,

Tbf to him he ran and dragged a couple of players down their wing. Then decided against risking losing the ball by going for a touchline or corner, and turned back, passing it cleanly to one of ours and we retained possession and deflated them.
I enjoyed that thoroughly.
