England won in 10/11 mainly cos they were a far superior set of players at the time but their preparation was spot on playing tough cricket matches in Aus conditions before the first test. I get the calendar is packed and there is no money in it but they have to start looking at that.

Got a horrible feeling they've blown the series on Day 2 here. This is going to be a shattering defeat. Massive pressure on the second test and 1 down with Cummins to come back.

Nothing hypes the aussies up like a shattered England. Watch Starc come out like a mad man for the second test with nervey English openers.

Aussies knew this was well below par. The 4th innings chat was a bit silly on day 2. Best time to bat is late today and into tomorrow but our batsmen didn't show the patience and fight required

If they don't improve and read the game situation better then this is a 5 nil series

Totally agree. We've all enjoyed this attacking brand of cricket over the last few years, but they absolutely blew it today. Amateurish performance.

Need to sort the batting out otherwise we will be whitewashed this series. Absolutely embarrassing how we were in total control at 61/1 today to then being utterly humiliated.

Id be interested to know what was said at lunch. I bet it was along the lines of "go hard and smash them out the game".
