Moyes has given Dibley a couple of goes and he hasn’t looked anywhere near the standardI'm torn between the "Moyes doesn't play youngsters" and "you need to earn your spot." It's somewhere in between, where younger players can't be given opportunities on a platter, but also need to play.
Compared to who? Mcneil?Moyes has given Dibley a couple of goes and he hasn’t looked anywhere near the standard
A traffic cone. I agree mcneil is terrible by the way, I just don’t think Dibling can argue he’s been hard done to.Compared to who? Mcneil?
Moyes has given Dibley a couple of goes and he hasn’t looked anywhere near the standard
Moyes has always done this, he just randomly drops a player into a team after weeks of not playing.
Same with McNeil last night. Because he refuses to make many changes players on the fringes of the first team are always coming in cold and then stink the gaff out.
He was more than fine for saints last yearI'm torn between the "Moyes doesn't play youngsters" and "you need to earn your spot." It's somewhere in between, where younger players can't be given opportunities on a platter, but also need to play.
He was, but that was a truly awful squad. He certainly should find it more difficult to get minutes here, but again at the same time he needs to play.He was more than fine for saints last year
Exactly. He played 4 mins v City, 9 mins v West Ham and 4 mins v Liverpool. He has had one decent run out against Palace for 45 minutes when the team as a whole was awful. He should have been given 25/30 minutes against both City and Spurs given the score lines in those games to show what he can do. He is also capable of dribbling from deep through a press as he showed multiple times at Saints last season. Instead McNeil who we know offers absolutely nothing, no pace, no tackling, no ball retention. He was absolutely dire. He's played 62 minutes in the league.

I stopped reading here.Didn't Rio Ferdinand
Dibling, Barry, Alcaraz, Aznou...I worry that the way Moyes has handled it so far has given the impression to the likes of Dibling and Barry that he doesn't have much faith in them.
He gave him a start and hooked him at half timeHe's played 62 minutes in the league.
You're right, he's definitely given him a proper opportunity. He gave him a start and hooked him at half time
