2025/26 Tyler Dibling

Mate, he thought Dwight McNeil was a viable option tonight, that’s absolutley blown any argument from anyone about players not showing in training.

It’s farcical.
It doesn't blow any argument at all. It's concerning that he's bringing McNeil on before him.

Moyes is still giving starts to Barry even tho he's blatantly [Poor language removed], but Dibling isn't anywhere to be seen. It's a worry.

Fingers pointed and questions asked of the manager about his scandalous use of players.

The only signings hes consistently used are Grealish & KDH.

2 players when used together that massively slow the play down, which is against how Everton should play.

One thing Dibling won’t do is speed us up. He likes the ball to his feet and doesn’t have pace to run in behind.

Should have come on ahead of McNeil obviously.

I did. That lads a talent. But shown he was a talent under zero pressure given probably more freedom from a fraud of manager losing every week.

He's started 2 games for us and been awful. Moyes sees him in training and knowing full well the amount of money we spent on him, refuses to play him.

Go back to the vaults when we bought him and you'll find this is exactly how I thought it would pan out. Has nothing to do with the talent but everything to do with the price and whats expected.

If we'd paid the same price we paid for Alcaraz or McNeil (who was doing more at the same age) no one would be fussed. But we haven't so people expect.

When the truth is probably more like he's not ready to play for a club like ours and deliver.
Didn't really need to be any pressure here, either. Everything was feel-good at the start season, with the new ground, decent money spent and no serious thought being given to relegation.

The way it's going now, Moyes will only get more and more conservative if we become mired in the bottom half and this lad will barely kick a ball all season.

Complete waste of resources.

McNeil just featured in a u21 thrashing recently. He should be nowhere near getting in this first team side. Under anything but absolute emergency circumstances

Haggled over the tens of millions to put him below Dwight McNeill in the pecking order. Madness.
The only thing that makes any bit of sense is that Moyes begrudgingly signed off on him but refuses to play him because secretly he didn't really want him. We can't forget that Moyes publicly said that all incoming players are given the seal of approval by him — so any expensive failures are on his watch.
