If we sell established senior players, then fair enough.

If we sell Coleman and Barkley and players who we have never even got to see in their real positions, I will fecking kill somebody.

You see im in the other camp.

We should not sell Barkley tho, but get rid of the other yooth, they are all badly gash, well Vellios is a talented boy.

Keep Barkley and Vellios, sell everybody else.

Pretty stupid if so though.

We have a hugely talented young player in our ranks. He will inevitibly be sold pretty early on down the line. So unlike Rooney who was played for a while then sold for big money to the ire of many fans the club think if they don't play
Barkely that the fans won't fume when he is sold.

Sold for about a third of what he's actually worth to a cash strapped club.

Yeah, the fans won't fume about that at all. And surely the club aren't all that fussed about the fans or they wouldn't of gone 2 and a hlaf seasons without signing a player.

The best thing to do would be play Barkley, push his fee up as much as possible and then sell him.

Fans wil fume anyway but i'd fume a lot less if we got £25 million for him than i would if we got £5 million.

Bang on.

If we sell him this summer after he rotted in the reserves i'll be furious.

The stunner in all this, is quite simply, Moyes doesnt rate him.

Everybody else who has watched this boy play says hes talented beyond utter talented and Moyes still plays McFadden instead of him, sometimes I wonder David, do you deserve me?

I'm with mout.

We havnt won't anything with the established lot so why not get rid? For a good price and only players who wont make a difference of course.

But if we sell say Jags or Johnny, we'd likely get more than we paid for them and we'd have got years of good service from then, too.

We sell Vellios, Barkley, Coleman, Duffy etc and not only would we not get big money, we haven't really got anything from them on the field either. And you know they'd go on to be boss somewhere else. It would just be awful. We'd feel like West Ham did ten years ago.

Given the choice, I would go with Rodwell and Jagielka all day long, not that I dont rate either, simply that I rate the others more.

But the simple fact is, we get bids for ANY player this Summer and they are gone.

Heres how I think its gonna happen.

City will do their usual media bidding war for Baines, Everton will resisit, Baines will say hes happy, City will throw the money on the table, Everton will cry wank all the way to the bank, Baines will resist, Baines will be tarred with the Judas stick, Baines will leave.

Everton will be linked with A.N. Other untill the 31st August, Fellaini will sulk and rightly so, somebody will bid for Fellaini, another Judas is born.

In the meantime if Johnny has played well in the Euros bids will come in, Johnny will be off like a shot, citing ambition, another Judas will be born.

Barkleys knees will last the Summer, Chelsea/Spurs will bid around 5m just to take the pee, Everton will accept, Judas.

SuntanBob will write a blog blaming a hurricane in Asian, Moyes will get 3 Loans in.

Everton will start the Season on January 25th with their first win of the Season.

January 25th is my birthday. Honest story

Which is precisely why selling our kids who haven't had a real chance would be so annoying.

I'd rather see our entire first eleven sold then Duffy, Coleman, Barkley, Vellios etc. If nothing else we'd save a lot more money by doing it.

Well, I was clearly being harsh, Duffy strikes me as somebody with a good future, hes got the talent, Coleman might be a good player at RB, as a RW hes terrible.

Out of the squad, there would be no fume from me if we sold Rodwell, Jags and of course Victor "I fall on the floor cos im crap".

Agree with this, Duffy is a great prospect, we know about Barkley, and haven't seen enough yet of Coleman and Vellios.

I would sell Jags if I had to choose, but doubt Arsenal will be back in with a similar offer to before. So the most likely would be Baines. We've become too reliant on him anyway and it would be better than selling Fellaini.

Who could we get in to replace Baines though? I can't see Moyes being willing to promote someone like Garbutt or Bidwell into the first team, and an entire season of Phil Neville or Distin at left back would be horrible.

Possibly the Croatian lad he was after last summer, can't remember his name.
