If it wasn't for his last few weeks/months here I'd have no ill will against Dyche. I just think that he's an extremely limited manager. I give him all the credit in the world for keeping us up in horrible circumstances in both 22-23 and 23-24. Make no mistake, he played a massive part in keeping the club afloat. But there's no getting around tbe fact that he's utterly incapable of adapting as a manager. He plays his way and nothing else, because he knows nothing else. He should also be embarrassed and ashamed of the way he downed tools in his last few months here. It was shameful, cowardly, unprofessional, scumbag behaviour.

I must admit ive more of a curious interest in this than i thought i'd ever have.
A lot of money has been pumped into that playing squad. He has no excuse to serve up the utter dross he was doing here in his last 12 months.
The real curious part is he'll think he's doing brilliantly(he always does) if he has them sitting 14th or 15th. Will that owner though.

In his first 12 months we played some decent stuff....not City type, but fast paced pressing and aggressive....once it got hard for him, he returned to type...which all managers do.
Not even close to being as bad as Big Sam & Rafael.

Too many like to change history to fit their narrative.

He had to go in the end, but lets not pretend he didn't do a good job under terrible circumstances.

No they don’t. He was an awful manager and full of absolute nonsense. He kept us up after the Lampard debacle that’s the only credit he gets. Even then he left until last game. The season after any manager would have kept us up. Even if we tried to go down we wouldn’t have. Luton had 26 points and won one game from the end of Jan. Nah it’s others who change history to make out he was a saviour. He was horrendous. And Forest will find out to. Can’t wait.

You just proved me right, with all that waffle.

Yeah we'd have needed 34 points from 38 matches to stay up that season. He did well to get 48 but wasn't the miracle that's made out.

The relegated teams were awful and we've never taken fewer than 34 points in a season during the 3pts per win era (and it still rarely happened when a win was 2pts)

Who ever said miracle ??

Why is everthing to the extreme eaither way....its so bi-polar with our fans.

Its ok to say he did a decent job, or did well through a difficult period.

"Did well" - Does not mean miracle....or genuis or success.

ffs these have got to be paid for by his agent or pr agency

anyway I have just watched his first day at forest video

I am ashamed, its like peeking at ex gfs or ex wives social media posts to see how they doing
what is my problem besides supporting Everton my whole life
I'll admit a morbid fascination.

It's no surprise to me that it's all unfolding in precisely the same way it did at Everton.

He's a one-note manager, and he'll keep striking that note until he's shown the door at another club.

Plenty online who have stated it mate (including from other clubs looking in). The fact he cleared relegation so easily was impressive but we should never have been relegated with those 3 teams anyway.

The actual miracle was the half season he came into because I've absolutely no idea how we stayed up. From the Leicester match to the bizarre twatting 5-1 of Brighton. Incredible series of events.
