Can he beat his own record and get to 14 games without a win?…Once Dyche goes on one of his famous winless streaks it's curtains for him
What. A. Manager.

It’s a bit sad how anyone could defend the bloke who made going to the game an absolute misery, but you do you, mate. At least you’ve got the Scabs as a second team now that the “messiah” has returned. Its been boringly done to death at this stage mate, there just isn't new ground to break to be honest, you can say 1 point above relegation, someone else can say he was about five odd points or the like of being safe for the season etc - its boring.
He ran out of road for sure, he had no authority in the end given his contract situation, TFG were courting new managers for the summer and he lost all credibility and authority because of it all. His position was untenable. It was right that everyone move on.
I find it a bit sad, people cant wish him luck, the first season and a half was a real contribution and service to the club in what was probably its darkest time in our history existentially . Points deductions, zero budget, selling best players etc.
Find the resentment kind of like - if your house was on fire and a fire fighter turns up, puts it out -saving your house, then you get annoyed with them because your furniture got wet.
Personally will always be grateful to him.
We wont break new ground on Dyche overall - but its far from simplistically about 1 point above the relegation zone.
We've moved on, he's moved on, - wish him the very best of luck.

AI is back then
I appreciate it’s an unpopular decision but I think he did very well when he first arrived and during the points deduction. Its been boringly done to death at this stage mate, there just isn't new ground to break to be honest, you can say 1 point above relegation, someone else can say he was about five odd points or the like of being safe for the season etc - its boring.

"He'll never get another PL job" - the clever people.
Oh dear.

That’s not to say I think that his performance dropped because it did and we were certainly underperforming for much of his later career here .
I’m certainly grateful for some of his efforts however his attitude towards the club and general public persona made it very difficult for me to, and I think much of the fan base to take to him.
My problem , along with his persona , was he seemed to be unwilling to see beyond putting the fire out . Even when it was out he wasn’t turning off the hoses .Good post mate, he definitely had limits and he ran out of road here, but he was the right manager for the first 18 months, considering what was going on.
Always amazes me people get annoyed, when you need a fire fighter, you employ a fire fighter, the fire fighter fire fights, then get annoyed with him for being a fire fighter.
When the fire is out you move on and say thanks very much!![]()
Personally I don’t think a good “firefighter” starts the fires he wants the accolades for putting out.Good post mate, he definitely had limits and he ran out of road here, but he was the right manager for the first 18 months, considering what was going on.

Also that winless run was unacceptable at pretty much any club in the football world

He’s getting no good luck from me, I hope he takes them down, they’re not a very nice club.I don’t need to defend him, the facts or how you choose to to interpret them is an individual choice, for me are enjoying being a PL club at the moment due in no small part to his contribution.
We aren’t spending 100+ mill on transfers and owned by Texan Tea billionaires, if we went down after the Lampard debacle or Points deduction seasons.
Each to their own as you say, he deserves a good luck from us at the very least in my opinion but I won’t loose aleep
Over it, but hey you gotta be you!![]()
