4 extra games to the final in February hardly a big ask to take it seriously. Its not as if our playets have played European football club world cups week in week out for several years... Some of best players are not internationals.

Worst case scenario this season could be 41 games now,6days rest till next game and then for some an international gap coming up please say these players need a rest after 6 games already .

He needs to be out of here in the summer. Done a very good job up to this week - but was never the man for the future once the club had been stabilised. The first half hour at Anfield and last night's fiasco have reconfirmed his old failings.

I wouldn't say it needs to be that soon, there is still some stabilisation to go on and changing of mindsets in what we are. Moyes can still deliver that. Getting to the next step and winning something is the bit that is probably beyond Moyes and why I wasn't too bothered he left the first time around.

Think we need a 3 year period with the same manager before handing over the baton, one wrong move now and we can still end up a basket case club.

Thankful for what he's done since he's been here, but you can't make 7 changes like that an expect a result against a Premierish League team. A lot of those guys have barely played thus far and certainly not together. To me he set them up for failure (obviously not purposely).

We play our best team and go out last night then I'm gutted the trophy drought goes on but at least we tried. To go 30 years without a cup and serve up what we did was a disgrace.

It's not about being bipolar. No one on here expects to win every game, but we do expect to start trying to change the worst spell in the club's entire history.

There is an element of it being on purpose as it an unwelcome tournament for most teams nowadays. And the big teams always start to take it seriously if they scrape through to the final stages, so you end up getting pumped anyway.

There's logic to that the past 4 years when we were battling for PL survival. Now, each cup run is a chance to win a trophy. If it isn't, we should just play the U21 squad.

I think the league and FA Cup are the priorities. Do we really want injuries due to the League Cup. Obviously it’s a risk in any game, but do we really want one of the best players getting hurt in a pretty pointless tournament?

West Ham a much easier game with momentum behind us. Now we have to start again

I expect that and I am pretty sure that we will win the game.

Just the pressure will grow on Moyes, if the results in the next 2 games don't come granted we have 2 difficult games with Spurs and Man City after the international break.
