I am not sure some people realise how thin our squad is, we have no right winger and little senior back up in midfield and we are relying on a 18 year old and a 36 year old who will be off to Afcon too...

Brownhill has played 3 full seasons in PL and scored 0, 2, 4 goals respectively.

Because even in the second tier he’s vastly outperformed Doucoure, he wouldn’t be my first pick but he’s not a bad option for the midfield but because he’s not a fancy name people like you turn your snobby noses up at him

Because only Everton paid like 120k per week and he refuses to lower his wages demand. If Brownhill asks the same no one will want him either.

I want Luiz. Simple. I want players who actually are good players and improve Everton starting 11.

No it isn’t football manager. Exactly why you don’t just offer ridiculous wages to players in order to get them sign.

It was our problem before and then we couldn’t shift them. Bolasie for example.

We are going to have to pay an "Everton" tax somewhere along the process, players won't come to us if we are only offering the same or less than a European qualifying team I.e Forest.
I'm not talking stupid money BTW, but it appears we are doing the same old negotiating trick that we have failed with for years.
If we don't pay either the player or the selling club what they are looking for, or near as, I dread what waits for us at the bottom of the barrel.
Someone else always completes the deal, we just move to the next one down on the list

I want Luiz. Simple. I want players who actually are good players and improve Everton starting 11.

We all do, but it’s clear, very clear that any move for Luiz won’t happen until after the season starts if at all for varying factors and we simply do not have the time to wait for a decision when our options if IGG went down injured are Iroebugnam, Armstrong and Garner
