Quite happy to have a bet who gets the most England caps. Actually you can have McNeil, garner and tim all together and I will have Armstrong
Will Armstrong win more caps than Maitland Niles would be a fairer better (a player lots of our fans base deride)? Anyone smart with a knowledge of football and the probability of getting England caps would bet on Maitland Niles based on the current evidence.

You have been going on & on about Garner over Harrison Armstrong for ages - just behave OK!
And that's because you think I rate Garner so highly? Jesus wept. Try reading what people actually write and try to understand their point instead of being so emotional.

Definitely think we should keep him for the season and give him some games
What kind of message does it send if when we are short of numbers, struggling to get players in, that we don't give an obvious talent a proper pathway into the team?

Dunno about that, would like to see Armstrong play a few games before I pass judgement on the lad.
We need him in our squad one multi million player will not be a silver bullet for our team - we are the slowest team in the prem DM is correct we need a strong squad with lots more signings our bench is poor - on last nights showing Harrison Armstrong was better than most - end of ....

Is the only rational response. I remember that Niles Nkounkou playing for us and putting in a performance at left back that made him look like prime Baines and was crowing about him in work. Never ever did anything remotely like that ever again. Jon O'Connor also in the 90s I hoped was destined for big things. England youth team captain, played a few games in the first team as a 19 year old, did well and set up a goal. Vanished without a trace. Tyias Browning was supposed to be the best 1 v 1 defender at the club after a derby cameo. Vanished without a trace. Michael Branch - England youth prodigy. Didn't play at the top level after he left us. Davek's favourite - Kieran Dowell. There are loads more and they all had bigger reputations than Harrison Armstrong.

Let's see if hes still here in September, for me, if he is, then recruitment has failed and we are in big trouble.

Because he made a basic assist? Or are you just going on ratings from some spurious poll? 🤣

He did actually make us money though and had a semblance of a career but yes, was much more highly lauded and actually did put in some good performances for us in the Prem (including a great goal against Utd). Armstrong doesn't look quick enough for me and I'm not sure his touch is the best. He can pick a pass though.

Not many of our other midfielders can though that's a problem ..... he can get far better some can't...
