Will Armstrong win more caps than Maitland Niles would be a fairer better (a player lots of our fans base deride)? Anyone smart with a knowledge of football and the probability of getting England caps would bet on Maitland Niles based on the current evidence.

Is the only rational response. I remember that Niles Nkounkou playing for us and putting in a performance at left back that made him look like prime Baines and was crowing about him in work. He did actually make us money though and had a semblance of a career but yes, was much more highly lauded and actually did put in some good performances for us in the Prem (including a great goal against Utd). Armstrong doesn't look quick enough for me and I'm not sure his touch is the best. He can pick a pass though.
Not many of our other midfielders can though that's a problem ..... he can get far better some can't...
