6 + 2 Point Deductions

NFL and even the NBA are great models for every team to have a chance of success during their window of opportunity.

Kansus City Chiefs were a nothing franchise until Patrick Mahomes was the quarterback teaming up with Andy Reid as Head Coach. They have won 3 Superbowls together and compete every season. Eagles have won 2 Superbowls in last 10 years. The Rams won a Superbowl. Teams with losing regular season records can completely turn it around in a year or two.

In the NBA both OKC and the Pacers went from winning around 25 games a season from a couple of years back to just playing in the Finals.

Soooooo much more enjoyable for fans of all teams as opposed to just the usual suspects like the Premier League.

The enjoyment from Premier League teams is arguably from playing in Europe and any domestic cups. The league itself is gash and unenjoyable as it's a closed shop for around 75% of those involved.
This makes leagues more exciting and unpredictable. You hardly ever see this in soccer - the system of salary caps and drafts really evens the playing field. Туттотек wrote that 70% of clubs are in a constant struggle for survival, and only a handful have a real chance of achieving something more. Although, to be fair, sometimes even in soccer there are “Leesters.”

aston villa women's team is worth 55 mil eh....

they finished 6th last season, 1 point above us

our team has won: -

You just know we will do it and there will be irregularities and we are the ones punished....

But completely agree..... from 1st July let's sell the ground and the womens team creating hopefully a massive PSR jump for us for this next year!

Absolutely farcical that this is allowed. Shows how absurd and ridiculous the rules are in the first place.
It's fine if it is allowed for everyone. It's farcical if Chelsea and Villa can do it and we can't.

Same with the points deductions. Fine if everyone was getting penalised for breaking rules, farcical if Forest get half our deduction for twice the overrrun.

The Friedkins need to get this done ASAP. First mover advantage here is very clear.

In desperate need of a football regulator. These clubs have proven they just can't be trusted time and time again.

And now every other fanbase is going to be screaming out about wanting to do the same (quite rightly) when in fact its making any kind of spending constraint a joke. A complete race to the bottom, where only agents and business people win.

I'd be selling our womens team tomorrow.

I think we should sign all the players we want to first. If the clubs we are buying players from know we have a load of money sloshing around I feel like the price for all the players we want will just go up. Like last time we had a bit of money and ended up paying over the odds for; Siggurdsson, Bolasie, Keane and others
