6 + 2 Point Deductions

It`ll be interesting to see how these women`s teams do as separate businesses. There have been so much talk of how women should have the same opportunities as men in football so with men and women teams being run as separate entities it will be good to see if the women`s team have been kept ticking over only due to being funded by the revenue the men`s team have been bringing in.

I suspect the Women’s team will be kept somewhere in the ownership structure mate, albeit in a holding company - we’ve just in place a whole management structure to support it, so I don’t see it leaving the stable too significantly bar a creative accounting nod as a wink!

Sky are just as complicit in the huge wealth gap that has now opened between certain clubs and the likes of us, they constantly put a certain number of clubs on tv much more than others, which they get paid more for, it's shocking and has ruined the game in this country.
Complicit? They're literally the reason football has gone down the tubes. They approached the FA with the idea of breaking away from the Football League, and the rest is history.

Of course the women's teams have been kept ticking over financially by the men's team. Despite the media hype there's very little money being made in the women's game and most tickets are heavily reduced in pricing or even free in some situations. It's a good thing from wanting women to be able to be involved in a sport they enjoy but financially women's football would collapse without the help of the men's game

Try telling that to some of the women that are forever going on about equal pay in football.
