Take your point mate, but the game is very different from when Sheeds was in his pomp.

Teams are much fitter now and, with every game being televised around the globe and analytics teams, it is much easier to spot weaknesses and snuff out opposition players if they aren't great.

Having said that, McNeil as a squad player is fine by me. His quality is fine for a 4th or 5th choice winger, but as it stands, He's a starter.

I personally think the whole midfield isnt good enough personally, bar alcaraz.
Thats it for me apart from ndiaye who i think can go up another level who has shown this season is a great player. Is going to be a turnover in the squad next couple of seasons. Always need to really be looking for better players to improve the team, i do think players like mcneil garner myko ect deserve a chance to show under moyes can be better and also be bringing in better players to challenge them. I do feel under moyes players like mcneil can up there game after being in such a defensive coach in dyche

Obviously not seeing as were trying to get a RW in as one of our top priorities and thats where hes played under moyes
Yeah doesnt mean wont play on the rw, makes more sense to be looking for players on the right but a player like doak can play on both like alot of wingers now

Hopefully can get more in and can really see a difference next summer with a better network
Looks pretty on paper, but so did Steve Walsh coming from that Leicester fairytale :dodgy:

He was our head of scouting under Moyes 1.0 here mate, Moyes took him to Utd and he was sacked when Moyes was - City then snapped him up.

Dude identified some serious players for this club.

He's played a grand total of 238 minutes under Moyes, and none at full match fitness.

Moyes isn't looking to get rid of him. He's barely got to know him as a player.

Hes watched him in training ever since he came back from injury he knows he needs better.
