I can honestly say I’ve never hated an Everton player ever.

Oh apart from maybe Holgate. And Earl Barrett. And Paul Gerrard. And Schneiderlin. And.. actually yeah I’ve hated loads of them.

Who’s hating on him? Just a difference of opinion, some including me don’t think he’s anything special and he won’t be part of the squad, if we have serious ambitions as a club

Why did you have to mention Schneiderlin. That’s hundreds of ponds spent on therapy down the swanny. I’d successfully managed to block him out of my mind.

I don’t think we are going to be in the market for a ‘make-do’ right back unless we somehow get rid of Patterson, as we already have several players that can make do in that position. JOB, Patterson, Coleman, even Garner if really desperate. I do however see Moyes paying a significant fee for a quality right back, which is what we need.

I think Moyes will look at OBrien being the starting RB for next season maybe getting an up and coming player to take over when OBrien eventually goes to cb

…I’d imagine it’ll take a few windows before the likes of McNeil is not ‘part of the squad’. He’ll be an important player for us next season, I’d be sure of that.

With the squad packing that's needed, replacing McNeil is so far down the list that his name isn't even on the list yet.

I do wonder how much interest would be in mcneil and his valuation?
Always seemed to me, that he was rated far higher in the media than for those of us who saw him game in, game out.
Would you sell him for 18-20 million?
