….its a difficult one, I’d be more impressed he’s got himself into the Ivory Coast squad. Footballers often pass through the lower profile leagues, he went from Ivory Coast Academy to Denmark to Rangers so he might be progressive at 23yo.

It’s possible the scouts have seen something in him that suggests he can step up I guess

….we had a connection with Rangers first team, so watched him a fair bit. Never considered him a stand-out but I suppose you don’t with that type of player in that league but he’s got a very good engine and tidy enough in possession.

I doubt Rangers paid much for him but he’s still got 3 seasons on his contract & now got himself into a decent national team, I just wonder what his price tag is.

More Rangers players is what we need . That will cheer up the old fruits round here .

My brother in law is a big Rangers man, doesn’t seem that enamoured with him and was surprised a PL club would be in for him, has put in some big performances in the bigger games but can go missing during the weekly grind. Not sure that’s the attitude we need although I guess if the talent’s there he might step up when he’s in the big show.

Said he’d be happy if they got 10m for him which is small change in PL terms, my worry is these days it rarely gets you a PL player.

I quite like the idea of Matt O’Riley (yes, Oh Riley I do).
Was awesome at Celtic and for Denmark, never quite fit into things at Brighton.

Would depend on how much Brighton want for him. There might be better value out there if the price is too high, but would be great in the Doucoure/Garner role as a box-to-box.

He's been massively under used by Brighton, i suppose that's what happens when you spend £250m on to many players

Yup, not sure if it’s just being kept out of the first team due to the performance of others or if he’s being asked to play out of position and not coping well.

Either way, he might be up for a move and Brighton might want to cut their losses.
Not a priority position for us but worth it if a deal can be made.

Been injured for most of the season though hasn’t he.
