Dreadful, hopefully no one is badly hurt or worst that there are any fatalities. Saw the video and unsure really what to make of it. Not convinced this is terror related...wouldn't surprise me somebody panicked, or perhaps somebody not quite right in the head. There was a similar incident in spain not that long ago where i believe a driver panicked and collided with football fans.

Hearing there’s at least one dead. My Mrs cousin just messaged in the family chat that his friend had messaged him and their lad was hit and is in the hospital

Awful, from the video I seen that first guy took a big hit and landed hard banging his head absolutely horrific.

Saying it terror related before we know what happened just emboldens the idiots - they are all ready at it in my feeds.

Well judging by the way the crowd immediately reacted to attack the vehicle I don’t think it was an old guy having a heart attack.

Happened to my ex. Car ploughed through stationary traffic hitting hers. Woman had an epileptic fit.

But seeing as the car stopped and started and carried on...

Apparently incident started a few moments earlier before the terrible video caught events.

The cordon on the pictures with multiple police certainly looks a lot further up Water Street then the section captured in the video; I think there's been more casualties than what's shown in the video unfortunately.

If it was a heart attack/medical, surely they would have been taken off in an ambulance instead of a police van.

Edit - just seen another vid and it looks like an angry white guy who couldn’t get past. He was beeping his horn st people to get it the way - that’s how it looked anyway

Hope everyone is alright.

Can’t see it being terror related as there’s no reason for the car to stop if they were intent on maximum carnage.

I’ll wait to hear the police report, could be anything from an old codger in a panic to a loon who’s lost the head.

I know it looks deliberate, but I'm still clinging on to it being a medical "episode" or someone panicking and losing control. If not, why does he stop? If it's a terrorist, wouldn't he have kept going to cause maximum carnage?

Makes me feel sick looking at it, whatever the cause. Really hope that nobody has been killed, but it does look bad.

I hesitate from saying terror, lads.

It can be anything from a drunken idiot having one too many on his bank holiday day off, getting behind the wheel when he shouldn't have and losing control of the car, to someone having a medical episode like a heart attack, or epileptic fit at the worst possible moment?

Rather not speculate until all the facts come out.
