Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

That would be a superb signing and tick off the right midfield slot perfectly.

If we could sign 4 average players on loan to enable us to sign 4 higher priced ones then that may be the stopgap we need.

Amass, Collyer, Garnacho, Mainoo and Diallo seem to be their best young players in the first team.

Each of them have positives and negatives attached.

I don't want this Bug anywhere near this great institution.

He's absolutely everything that's wrong with modern day football....The first interview he gave last night after their defeat all he proceeded to do was to talk about himself.

Super to watch going forward and fantastic skillz. But as i said, their best young players he positives and negatives attached.

I've massively gone off Mainoo but it may be because hes surrounded by poor players and is being moved around.

Diallo on the right and perhaps Amass for LB/LM cover?

As does Angel Gomes.

All of the better free agents are after a big wage at a European side. Whether they get that we'll wait and see.

Gomes and David would be real statement signings. We can but hope.

Many are saying hes too small but surely it doesnt matter in the 10 role?

He doesnt look like a 10 to me though, more of a deep midfield playmaker where he'd be expected to put in the tackles as well...could he do that?

Theres a bunch of France based players who may be cheaper based on their ongoing tv rights struggles, unless thats changed now?

Everton linked with Dynamo Kyiv’s Vladyslav Vanat
Everton fans won’t be too familiar with the name Vladyslav Vanat, but the Dynamo Kyiv striker has a proven goal record.

A forward is certainly needed for the Toffees, and that’s been confirmed with The Friedkins prioritising a striker.

The main reason for this desire is the likelihood that Dominic Calvert-Lewin will leave, and also Armando Broja returning to Chelsea.

Only 2 in 11 internationally but his club form is goals, goals, goals.

Never understood Amorim’s problem with Garnacho.
Would have him in our attack any day of the week.
Direct, fast, supplies, scores. A one-man counter attack if needed.
It’s off the field stuff his training, on the pitch he’s easily one of their better players. He will be in the CL for someone next season.

Can't see any world Moyes okays this. The guy does less than zero defensive work. Like you'd have to build a whole gameplan around having 1 less player on the pitch for any defensive tactic.

Unbelievably nice with the ball though.
TBF I didn`t think Benramha, Paqueta and Kudus would be Moyes signings but they were, I`m sure we`ve had some pretty big egos in Moyes 1 tenure... I think some of the current squad have a very high opinion of themselves like Doucoure who said he wouldn`t take a pay cut and that he`d actually earned the same if not more!

He's no #10 that's for sure.

When did West Ham bring in a DoF? Was listening to a podcast which showed there was a clear delineation between Moyes' signings and West Ham's signings; with the improved quality (Bowen, Kudus notably) coming when Moyes wasn't given 100% control of the process.

I’ve always been a fan of Trossard.
Would offer him a starting place at #10 if he was bored sitting on the bench at Arsenal. However, Arteta seems to be relying on him a bit more this season, and is looking at a new contract for him.
