In Keanes last 7 games before this we only conceded 4 goals. He's a confidence player and today he clearly was not mentally right for it

….i wondered similar. A professional footballer on the bench should be watching the game wanting to come, he should be fully engaged in the game and switched on. He looked totally cold to me, was maybe thinking of Easter Eggs when he got the call.

Keane is an odd one . We have seen a lot of our best defenders performing at their peak at Keane’s age . They may lose a bit of pace and strength but over time they gain experience. With experience they gain spacial and match awareness , better understanding of position and snide .
Mikey has actually got worse at these important facets of being a defender and is noticeably weaker and even slower .
A lot of center backs become captains too . Can you see him captain any side ?
I envy him . He’s got so rich by being so bad at his job . I think he will retire at the end of the season with his money bags . He will disappear as he doesn’t seem to have much charisma so he won’t work in media .

Genuinely no need at all to play him. Everybody knows that O'Brien is a long term centre back for us, while Young is fully fit and could have slotted in at right back with ease. Absolutely baffling decision by Moyes to bring on Keane, I'd say that move deserved to see us lose the game. Three right backs on the bench.. and he brings on Keane 🤣
