Genuinely no need at all to play him. Everybody knows that O'Brien is a long term centre back for us, while Young is fully fit and could have slotted in at right back with ease. Absolutely baffling decision by Moyes to bring on Keane, I'd say that move deserved to see us lose the game. Three right backs on the bench.. and he brings on Keane

If Keane was a horse, he'd get put down.If Keane was a boxer, he'd have a tattoo of a bullseyeon his hooter and all his advertising would be on the soles of his feet, he'd make a fortune!
Thought that was the obvious choice today. BizarrePlay a rb and move O’Brian to CB.
Very visibly angry with him. Noted O'Brien having a look.Pickford was fuming with him![]()

He made Ashley Williams look good back in the day. Beggars logic that he is still here on a kings ransom too. That he then gets brought on with other options available on the bench isn’t down to him though.£ for £, one of our worst ever signings.
Really has been a total disaster.
Maybe he's making a point at this time of year? We are safe and so is he giving players an opportunity to show what they can or cant do in front of the new owners - making a point about the lack of quality in the squad? If the playera can't come on and do a job for a like for like replacement then hopefully they will be gone in the summer. If 99.99% of us knew we would lose if he came on...as in we KNEW the game would turn...
...why didnt Moyes?
Hes stated a couple of weeks back that O'Brien will be back to CB soon -- yet doesnt move him across.
It tells me that he doesnt trust any of the RBs (Coleman, Young & Patterson are finished) and thought Keane was a favourable option.
