What Did You Last Eat Thread

BTW that first baguette looks pretty gosh darned good, just enough air in the rise to make a fluffy bread. Bet it's the bee knees still warm n soft n moist.

Edit: And that is a lumberjacks chopping board. I like.

This looks the business, 2 sheesh, a lamb chop, a chicken leg, and then tikka lamb and tikka chicken. The juice out of the meat falls into and flavours the rice.
What was the damage on this delectable feast?

It’s absolutely top notch pal, all in was £19 but it’s 2.5 days worth of eating. It’s an investment really. Bit of salad, couple of sauces. One of them I’m presuming is some sort Yemeni salsa/chilli sauce that’s really unique. Very fresh with just the right amount of kick. Also comes with a home made bread. You could easily share it with 2 and you’d probably still not finish it in one go, truly there is a gaping cavern of rice under that meat.

That point you mentioned about the meat juices flavouring the rice is bang on. Some of the best rice I’ve ever had. You could eat it by itself without the meat it’s so flavourful.

Just brought these home made baguettes out of the oven. I'm going through a bread making phase, I love it and so does the family. I made the dough yesterday and had it in the fridge overnight to slow rise. I'm trying different sizes now to see which works best. Mrs B is loitering with intent, very excited for them to cool down. I'll have a bit just with butter for now and a cup of coffee.
