Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Two reasons.

1. I think he will be overpriced. He has been off form for a good while at this stage and if he is struggling to make an impression on Potter (who had him at Brighton) then that is a big question mark. He had a small handful of ga,es that he looked good (incl the 1-4 season before last) but it’s been over a season at this stage.

2. The Irish team who get 15% of the next transfer fee are the equiv of the RS for my Irish team. I’d be sick Everton paying them a few million! So maybe on a free transfer!
He's just coming back from an injury though?

We've all seen what he's capable of. There's defo a player there.

I can't see his price going any higher at the moment, especially that he's not had that much gane time at Ham

It's mad that most of us are willing to give the likes of Beto a chance because he managed a couple of goals. This is a young lad, who has shown potential in the PL at a young age. Just because he's had a little set back due to injury, people are too quick to rub him out. That's just my opinion

I think he's defo worth a punt. Maybe not at a silly price of course, but I think we could get him on loan with possibly an option to buy?

There's no way we should be discarding the idea of him as an option though. After all, we will be looking for loans, free's this window, as we have a fair bit if space to fill.

Given that, we need to add quality, not just quantity

My wish list this year is that we get two wing speed merchants Doak would be one Gnonto possibly the other, a young dynamic center mid possibly Fernandez at Southampton or Hackney at Boro. I think as well I would like to see Harrison at Derby get a chance he has played a very disciplined role there as a defensive midfielder. The rest the hot spots in the team being taken up by loans. I watch very little european footy so I can't say who I would want from Europe. A player who has played really well this year in the MLS is Berhalter at the Vancouver huge step up but Alphonso Davies did it.
Qualify this by the fact I have no coaching experience so may be miles off on what we need 🙂

Cirkin LB/LCB
Esteve LCB
Hancko LCB/LB

Seems quite obvious were after a left sided defender if rumours are true.

No idea what this has to do with Branthwaite and the doomsday predictions -- we have no backup for Mykolenko or Branthwaite so its clear we're signing at least one.

Plus Moyes goes for a small squad so...

Seems a bit obvious and worth mentioning.

Best mates at city apparently.

Best mates at Bramley Moore hopefully

Just been perusing players that aren’t getting much of a go at other prem teams.

Richarlison - time to come home boy
Raul Jimmynez - dropped out of Fulham 1st team.
Emile Smith Rowe - not getting a look in,
Leon Bailey - non starter at Villa
Hwang Hee Chan - at Wolves, tricky little fella
Also Cunha will probably be sold so scuppers this one a bit but Strand Larsen seems to score every time he plays.

Forest have built their team with players that felt hard done by elsewhere and according to Dave they’re the blueprint.

Let’s go get some rejects!!
Dave thought that Sean Dyche was doing an exceptional job this season and was the only chance we had to stay up. Let’s steer clear of his ideas for a while.

Giorgi Chakvetadze at Watford is a proper baller in attacking mid.
I live near watford and go watch sometimes with a mate (I know, how lucky am I 😂)
Would defo add some pace and directness to our attack.
