Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I think the Kalvin Philips ship has sailed on here tbh.

He`s done zero at Ipswich and doesn`t look properly fit or even arsed most of the time.
Thank Christ. Was praying we wouldn't end up with him even though the other loan signings havnt done a whole pile better apart from Mangala and Alcaraz to an extent

Just go in super early on Delap, if he rejects us we'll have loads of time to get an alternative, no worries.
We should be all over this transfer and if he's got half a brain cell he should give it serious consideration.
Start every week and do the business for a couple of seasons, and then look at the other clubs (Rather than be instantly sat on one of their benches / not make match day squad)

….no idea how much he’s on but I can’t see anybody being daft enough to match it. I reckon he’ll need a mega-golden handshake to leave.

What an obviously ridiculous piece of business buying him in the first place.

I think Villa would offer him 150k+ a week to get him back eggs. They must be paying a huge amount of Rashfords and Asensio's wages I'd imagine.

Your right though, really strange signing. He's just stuck on the left and the amount of times he just does a square pass and has someone else deal with it is unreal.

Edit - I've just seen he's apparently on 300k per week 😳 😆 🤣

In fairness, I think people were expecting him to try and resurrect career and get himself playing like he did before he went to City.

Instead it appears he`s not arsed anymore.
I think he stopped being arsed after getting that contract at City. Might be a bit harsh to judge this but can remember every time the camera panned to him on City's bench he had a grin on from ear to ear. Looked like he was loving it

There seems to be a few of those. Silly wages being the big cause I'm sure

He`ll end up like Drinkwater when he went to Chelsea, sitting on his arse getting paid a wedge until his contract expires and then riding off into the sunset with his loot and packing in.

Edit. Just seen that Drinkwater is now working as a builder
