6 + 2 Point Deductions

Is this crap still going on..really you have Ratcliffe at United admitting massive losses for the last 3 years, Chelsea selling Hotels to themselves and us being battered with two points deductions, more points deducted than Forest who had twice our deficit. Do one Burnley enjoy the Championship.
We've been punished for breaking the rules, if Burnley have a gripe now it's with the PL.. We've served our time.

It would be interesting to read more about it, as there’s next to nothing being reported about it just now.

This relates to the 21/22 season, right?

Was this the season when the PL said we had ‘no case to answer’ having accepted all of our Covid mitigations, or the season where we should have had a points deduction but the PL’s incompetency caused the deduction to be delayed by a season?

the latter. They've definitely got a case because we pushed it to the next season with appeals. But yeah that's the Premier League's fault for accepting it

Sorry mate just above, it will be our published losses minus 25 to 35 mill in scope.

Well the next published loss should be posted by the 31st of March that’s the deadline that the accounts have to be published, I suspect it’s down on the 89 odd million figure, we last posted, I’ll be disappointed if it’s not, but don’t think it will be down by much, 20 odd million and we’ve done very well (suspect it won’t be that much) - the accounts published at the end of this month are up to July 24 - we know we are compliant for the year, if we weren’t we would have been charged, I suspect our loss will prob be 65- 70+ for 23/24 million give or take - that’s just my opinion.

For 24/25 - despite the feel good mood heading into the summer, I think we’re still operating at a significant loss if we’ve reduced it to 60 odd million we’ve done very well, but I suspect it’s still more - think we’ve been killed in 23/24 & 24/25 on costs and interest as a business - at one stage I was interest was costing us 5 mill a month that’s up to Jan this year. I suspect we have work to do before July to comply with PSR and we might see a surprising sale - wouldn’t at all be surprised to see one of McNeill, Beto, Myko or Garner go before the 1st of July if Branthwaite stays.

Just my opinion mate! ;)
I would hope if were that close the Freidkins would have lined up an A3P sponsorship now they seem to be permitted (I thought)
Also would the season ticket sales for next season be included in the accounts due at the end of the month? That might provide a bit of a bump.

This article suggests that the delayed punishment should have been issued in 22/23 (when Burnley were already in the championship having been relegated the season previously in 21/22), with the delayed punishment being issued the following season in 23/24 (last season).

I think this legal case pertains to 21/22, and will possibly be focused on the validity of our Covid and other mitigations, which were accepted by the Premier League at the time?
