Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on the misty morn .I hope all are well and had a good night . I thought Jake had a tough time last night but he came through in the end .Beto's failures don't worry me as no one gets them all 5 in 5 will do me . Have a great day all .COYB
I actually thought the same with O’Brien- struggled at times to stop the cross but ended the night as the hero. He must have been so frustrated being ignored by the previous manager when he has so much to offer. Same with Beto, getting into those positions to shoot is the most important thing now for him.

It’s an actual luxury to not have the full weight of relegation worries sitting on our shoulders.

So made it to phoenix from -10 to +82, if I see the Trumpet I’ll give him Kick in the goolies from all of those the can’t stand him
@Ducans elbow , seeing your post reminded me. Last week we had a “Buckie Thistle Memories” meeting looking back at the teams in the 70’s with the then goalkeeper leading the talk . Robbie Nicol’s name came up frequently as a goalscorer , I know you knew him when he was in Canada. He was actually in the room but left early so I didn’t get chance to talk with him . Apparently he’s off back to Canada soon, I’ll maybe get chance to talk with him at the next meeting.I’ve cropped this from one of the photos taken. Luckily I’m out of the picture, but it does confirm that the “ youngsters” haven’t taken over yet 🙂

Morning everyone,

Missed last night's game as I was playing ping pong ( we won 10 nil against the table tennis equivalent of Southampton) but like @anjelikaferrett they didn't miss me . Another great point. He's not bad this Moyes fella is he ?

Anyway , even though it was an easy win , I still feel really stiff the night after a game so the youngsters that have recently joined us ( and are most welcome - you've got Freds G&T corner to look forward to tomorrow) you have something to look forward to " when I'm 64".

So with such a gorgeous morning and bloody Rosie getting me up at midnight I'm chilling, having my brekkie listening to a bit of Joni Mitchell , life's not all bad!

Morning (just), bit of a theme going on here as also I missed most of the game yesterday as it was grandkid no. 3’s birthday. The football was on in the background, unfortunately it was the Manure game, SIL’s family are big fans, his Dad and sister had gone to the match. I had to laugh when they conceded the first goal, from SIL’s and his Mum’s reaction you would have thought it was a goal that had actually sent them down.🙄 Fortunately we left before they turned things around and I was laughing on the other side of my face.
Have a good day, all.💙
Forgot to say Posh made it to Wembley again last night. Hoping to go this time, missed out last year -I had a much better offer.😄

@Barnfred 55 having now listed to Critical Thinking on rotation this week I am absolutely loving it. What was it about it that didn’t get your attention?
I just thought it was lame compared to some of their earlier stuff mate. Maybe that's a bit unfair given that they created some of the best music to come out of the 90s. Perhaps expectations were higher than they should have been but that's the way I've always been. Once an artist drops it's standards I move on and look for something else. It's probably why I was so moved by The Cure's latest album because I felt that they were able to capture the magic of their earlier stuff.

I've only listened to it the once and sometimes you need to give it more than one hearing so I'll have another go at it soon. Another album that didn't really impress me was Sam Fender's, and that's getting all sorts of rave reviews. But he's very much in the mould of Springsteen, Bryan Adams .and Don Henley and that type of music has never appealed to me. I like the guy though. Seems very genuine.

You may have to wait a bit tomorrow as I'm going out for a curry with the neighbours.

I was multi - viewing last night, Everton on tv , Wrexham v Posh on my iPad . Posh were the better team in the first half but went 2-0 down to two well taken goals. It was more even in the 2nd half . Fate is a funny thing , if a team comes back they more often than not go on to win the game, as they did. There was a shot of Barry Fry sitting in the stands. Good luck for the Wembley final, Birmingham will be a tough one ,they’re easily the best team in League 1

A few reviews of Critical Thinking suggested it does take a few listens to really get it and I agree with it. I have heard something new with each listen and understand the meanings behind the lyrics now, Brushstrokes of Reunion being particularly powerful.

Re Sam Fender, loved People Watching but each new track has been a step down since. He should stick to the up tempo stuff and nail it.

This is a video posted on Donald Trump's twitter feed yesterday. In a month in which I've lost count of the shocking events coming out of the USA, I think he's sunk to new levels of depravity with this.

I’m proud that the Nationalist Parties here are boycotting the White House on Paddy’s Day. Kowtowing to that man is unacceptable.

That has got to be a wind up ,hacked or something .
Its so obviously AI created Blue so in theory anybody could have put it together. I can't say for certain that he definitely commissioned it, but the fact that he posted it on his social media you can assume that he endorses it. And as far as I'm aware it hasn't been posted anywhere else beforehand. And I'd agree on it being a wind up if it wasn't for everything else coming out from his regime over the last month. Madness, not to mention highly offensive for anybody associated with Gaza. The bit of him sunbathing with Netanyahu left me speechless.
