Sure I read his family are settled in Cheshire, kids in local schools etc and part of the reason he was desperate not to get relegated is he didn't want to have to move clubs and change their situation.

Since signing for the club back in 2017 only Ederson and Alisson have kept more clean sheets than Pickford, at the same time, no keeper has had more shots on target against them than Pickford (1200). 509 more than Alisson and 555 more than Ederson.

There was only one place for the ball to go there. He really needed to be better prepared for it. This is what separates the elite keepers. You can be a great shot stopper but you have to always be alert. It's a shame it happened in this game of all games where we took the lead. We could have caught them on the counter much easier, but now it will be a grindy one. Not mad really. Just frustrated.
