I’m hoping at the least he’s not going to set us up at home against mid/low level teams the way he has been doing. The Fulham, and Brentford games were shocking, then throw in Brighton, Bournemouth and Newcastle. A lot of dropped points there. He got away with it due to the uncertainty but hopefully not now.
It's all he's got so that's what we'll get
I'm OK with it for chelsea

Different kettle of fish now. I doubt he will be sacked immediately but he will no longer get away with the bs and blame dodging he trots out after every defeat. He needs to just get on with it now and not be crap. It is down to him how much longer he is here now really. Do ok and the new guys will probably keep it as it is till his contract runs out. Go on another poor run and it will end pretty quickly i would guess. No way will these guys suffer fools.

Personally i hope he goes on a decent run and does ok because i would like to see him leave the club on a good note after his efforts in the first 2 seasons.

Different Everton now thankfully.
Probably a daft question to those with a financial brain but could we at any stage have a scenario where getting his contract paid off before the end of it in the summer would be financially more favourable for Dyche than seeing his contract out.

When is this joker's press conference?

I might actually listen today.

Thanks
I'd laugh myself to death* if he emerged at the presser with a folded envelope in his pocket, opened it, and proudly displayed a new contract extension to the assembled journos.

*yes, really. RIP.

Unpopular opinion but I'd keep Dyche until the summer, shake his hand and then go for someone like Thomas Frank.
Although our new owners are richer than Moshiri we're still subject to PSR so spending money on compensation is daft imo. A new manger won't be able to achieve much between now and the summer anyway.
Been thinking this lately but how long before the wheels cone off if he knows he's out, players know he's out.
If it all stayed professional then might be worth it. Wouldn't want to lose out on a good manager in the meantime though

Sack him today, get in Leighton and Lee to the end of the season and reassess.
