2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

Chelsea and City and I think Forest next up with any new manager having pretty much zero time to change anything anyways, thought Dyche would be allowed those games, TFG aren't stupid they'd realise that a new manager ideally needs a good set of results early on, bringing one in now risks getting them off to a horrid start.

Probably done the calculation that 2-3 points out the next three is an acceptable return then get rid get the new guy in with an easier run of games the post new year break and a transfer window to be able to tweak the squad
Exactly this.
And if, miraculously, we manage to get 5+ points from those three games then Dyche will have earned a temporary reprieve. If we don't look like dropping into the relegation places for the remainder of the season, then he'll see it out.

I think his survival is all based on two questions, 1. Do they think we will be safe with him at the helm, and 2. Is their preferred manager currently available.

If the answer to #1 is no, I think they will fire him immediately and bring someone else in. If it is Yes, they will move on to #2, and if their preferred manager isnt available they will keep Dyche to end of season. However, if they really like a currently available manager, I can see them hiring him now, as that gives him an extra 6 months to deploy tactics and train the team in advance of the 25/26 season. A head start if you will.

Now that the sale of our Club has gone through, the new owners need to get a contract extension sorted out for Sean Dyche so we can start moving forward.

In Dyche We Trust.
