The next run of games give him a chance to pick up some points ahead of a tricky December, he needs too take it imo.
Nightmare as if he cements his own sacking in this run, December is a proper hospital pass to the new manager. Couldn’t call them free hits while he beds in; we’d need a serious points haul. Can’t go into Jan in the bottom 3 trying to buy proper players.

It's about like 2y ago under Lampard.

Then we had back to back must win games, that you are forced to win against all the bottom teams, while being in the relegation yourself.

Now it's games you don't expect to win while still being involved there. Not very pleasant.

They should have acted right now during the international period. To give us a chance of mid table. There has to be a red line to be crossed. That red line is the next two games. If we dont win at least one he should go!!

We have dropped 4 points in the comparative games though. So they are correct in saying that. And using the games against the same opposition from last year is a fairly valid way to look at it. Considering commentators and pundits look at recent match history between clubs etc when talking about games

So, just to be clear mate, you can have more points then playing the same number of fixtures, but it’s actually -4 in the makey up wishy washey alternative comparrison league!

Totally valid, more valid than the actual table, that says we have more points.

It’s actually fairly cool how you can talk yourself into - 4, from a position of having more points the year before from tougher fixtures.

Honestly though, the bickering is just boring with the makey up stuff.

The manager isn’t leaving unless there is a real jeopardy, which personally I think we will be no where near, so the whole will he go before the end of the season is a bit of a waste of time and the debates now are just so polarised that it’s just personalised stuff now rather then analysis, objectivity or constructive critique or praise as warranted.

There is a really decent debate to be had on our future in this thread, in terms of what our future approach should be, philosophy, manager/coach, recruitment and overall realistic progress.

It’s all stifled to a base argument of I like him and I don’t and he just called me a name.

Need to move on lids.

People are tribal about it, in absolutely ott ways on both sides of the fence. It's an enjoyable view sitting on it.

How do you know he isn’t leaving can you read TFG’s mind. No different to me saying as soon as the take over is done he will be sacked. 6 wins in 28 is a sackable offence and he would have gone at the majority of prem clubs
