And I think this is what the other fella was complaining about. There’s too much grouping people together no matter what they are really like because of political persuasion or of sexual orientation or preference. We really should be better than this. I’m sure that virtually all on here are good people who most would get on with in real life, but sometimes we let ourselves down because of silly tribal influences….anyway that’s me done for the night…..

Because let's face it. We are here for football. A game entrenched in bigotry. From it's time banning women playing. This only lasted what 50 years+???
For black players the history of the game is chanting monkey songs in the stands (Goodison included) and throwing banana's on the pitch (Goodison included). No black managers, no black refs, no black boardroom members. "Normal" view on taking the knee was dismissive and didn't help the games view on racism and actually has made it worse.
No gay premier league footballers at all!! In today's game (2024) not one!! And the last top flight British football that came out killed himself before MAGA even existed, because the way the football community treated him. And let's face it many of you on here treated him that way. None of you will admit because your cowards. But we all know it.
And you say it's 2024 and not news for non "normal people". Well actually @Goat your wrong again. If that's so explain why only yesterday the video released of the Argentinian national football team (unless the the whole team is not "normal"?) chanted racist and transphobic language towards towards the French team and Kylian Mbappe (who is reported to be in a relationship which a trans women) though he won't come out due to the football community and their "normal" views.
On that news story it been reported as only racist. Even though it is clearly racist and transphobic. Why do you think that is???

One of Enzo Fernandez's Chelsea teammates has already condemned the post as his club are now investigating. The France Football Federation have also said it will launch a legal complaint.
