I was reading an article about Julie Goodyear. Her husband mentioned that the Alzheimer's Society had given him.access to a dementia adviser who offered advice and that he had found it invaluable. It might be worth investigating that.

I've just been to the doctors for my repeat blood tests and then I went to Tesco. It was like Christmas. Absolutely packed! I'm going to watch some IPL cricket this afternoon.

They hold coffee mornings for carers and send me a list every month, unfortunately they always seem to be on days when I cannot leave my wife alone….

Cracking film but if it's a wet bank holiday Lawrence of Arabia is my go to movie .

Must admit though I'm looking forward to the City / Arsenal game on Sunday.

I am definitely not looking forward to the return of Everton to the PL fixture list.

@Barnfred 55 just back from Mowgli , Mrs J loved the treacle tamarind fries . They go fantastically with the Bhel puri which we didn't try last time but is magnificent.

Meeting was in the Liver Building ( no Moshiri didn't want to pick my brains!) and the 3 Graces were looking gorgeous but it was Baltic.


Also looking wonderful after what I presume is a clean up was India Buildings.

Now joining @anjelikaferrett in watching the IPL , well actually I'm about 100 miles away but you get my meaning.
 
@jazzy hope your Mum is okay, glad to hear she did well during the CT scan, hope the results are good. My Mum had a similar problem re drinking water. She had regular scans for an ovarian cyst and was supposed to drink 4 large glasses of water an hour before the ultrasound. She resolutely refused as she was frightened of wetting herself, we could do nothing to persuade her to drink and I was under strict instructions to agree with her when the hospital staff asked her whether she had drunk the water. When asked she always said she had with her sweet little old lady butter wouldn’t melt smile. I guess the nurses knew she was lying but the scans always came through ok.

She's in great spirits after Mrs J cooked her sausage and mash with onion gravy and carrots and peas ( all veggie of course)
