Merry Christmas all on this fine day here in Finland .I hope all are well and have a wonderful time today .Eat ,drink and be merry .I too will toast the fantastic person that was Karl .He still inspires me to be a better person ,more grateful for the world I live in and happy to be alive. May you all have a Christmas to remember .
Upon reading this post back it made me think -it is you people on here that inspire me as much ,despite all the things going on we have all managed to be friendly and even more concerned for each other ,a special thing for strangers to do -but wonderful .So please applaud yourselves for the time and care you put into this great thread .

It was really nice mate. First time I've tried that chillie sauce and when I opened the jar it looked like it may be hot hot, so I only used a couple of teaspoons and eked it out with some light soy and Chinese cooking wine. It was fine so I'll use a bit more next time.

Not as well presented as Blue's but it lasted great.

Turkey coming up to room temp, as is blini batter (tub is egg whites waiting to be whisked and folded in before a final short prove) and salmon mousse.
