Good morning all. We're having Christmas Day today because daughter is working tomorrow. So presents opened and turkey in the oven. We've had the traditional bucks fizz and bacon butty breakfast and played a couple of board games. The wine is going down nicely. I've had to stop drinking otherwise there won't be a turkey!

Had a call from grandchild who has been tracking Santa via an app, very upset because he’s delivering to Japan therefore must have missed England, her life is over! Trying to explain time differences and rotation of the earth over Facetime to a distraught seven year old is not easy!

Not wanting to be completely outshone in the food stakes today, here's my Xmas eve lunch. Prawn salad with my own recipe hot Marie Rose sauce and some seeded brown bread.

We are just out from our Christmas sauna ,70° in the sauna , the pool 13° ,so good for the system .The wife says that ,me I am just glad to be alive and get out . We watched "Get Santa " apparently it is a true story !
