I'm only 23 Val.I’m the same, already today I’ve filled up at Christmas carols and my favourite rescue dog being reserved, and then again for her sister who hasn’t. Do you think it’s an age thing? I’m certainly getting more emotional as I get older
I didn't think anyone other than my mum sent Christmas cards anymore. We certainly don't!I hate writing Christmas cards. I keep threatening to stop sending them - bah humbug
You must be in the pub AT. Unless you have a Guinness cellar at home. lol

Definitely just been inspired to root out an old live (Gabriel) version of Suppers Ready on YouTube later.Replace the Guinness (Our black lab was called that) with a glass of red, and thats me in an hour or so.
Oh, for the 70's rock fans in here, Sky Arts is a treat tonight.
6.00 pm. 2 hour doc thing on Genesis
8.00 till 10.30 pm. Doc about how Queen became, well, Queen.
Probably both repeats, but a reason to slump in front of the fire anyrate.
Like some have said, I too get Nikki moments, most days. But they are fleeting, but always end up smiling at the memories (broke the mould with her), and if I end up having what I call a "sad day", I just tell myself that I am sad cos I loved her so much. Works for me.
I always know which card has been sent by a friend of mine - she has an ink stamp which says Seasons Bleatings Baa HumbugI hate writing Christmas cards. I keep threatening to stop sending them - bah humbug
Nice one Fred, my mate got to a fairly high level in HMRC and he had to sack some bloke one day basically because he was bad at his job etc. but he maintains it gave him more pleasure to sack him because he was chairman of the Genesis fan club.Definitely just been inspired to root out an old live (Gabriel) version of Suppers Ready on YouTube later.![]()
