There's just no such thing as "no matter the cost" in our financial position. The money just isn't there.

We paid our former board £7.5mill, up to this point with more to come.

Rafael and Franks compo and coaching team £10 mill each.

We will soon be paying £55 mill in interest per year.

In the context of the above im not going to stress about £10 mill on actual football.

Even though your right mate we cant afford to waste it, but i also dont trust us not to waste it on something worse.

I really don’t think it’s about whether we can afford to waste the ten million or how we else we could spend the ten million. I fear that barring significant investment the ten million simply doesn’t exist.

Until we actually have the money there’s no point worrying about whether it should be spent on Dele. As it stands the only way is renegotiation.

Ive looked at it from Tony Carps point of view and all I see is this.

What is it you see?

Trying to discredit the messenger and not the message 🥱 how about someone who uses evidence to make an argument? Not someone who repeats their echo chamber.

Scientist in the closet though 👍🏻
Your career aside, I can only imagine what it must be like to feel that you have to hide your sexuality. I'd say that the crowd on GOT are generally a supportive bunch and I am sure that you'll have many a willing ear to listen. In the long run though, it would seem that coming out is a healthier option than the weight of living a lie.

That you have mentioed this in a thread regarding Dele might be a subliminal acknowledgement that he has matters to deal with also. If we can help Dele back onto his feet it'd be a huge win for us as a club and he may prove a few wrong with how that's translate to the pitch.

Keep the faith mate. 👍

People keep calling me out what, so I answered.

And like I’ve said the best thing for Dele imo is him away from football. So in fact you could say I have his best interests at heart, as well as the clubs.
Yes. The game and sport in general is famous for how well it's players with personal issues do phenomenally well after their career is over.

A rigid daily structure with access to excellent medical care. Nah, he's best out of it. Kicking around the house with little to focus on, that's what's good for those with addiction/mental health problems.

I'm sure you're basing your opinion having sat and spoken to the lad in countless sessions and with full knowledge of his medical history.

I remember a time when a rather good manager and a much finer man decided to rescue Arteta and Pienaar from the places they were respectively, when they were considered difficult characters and not interested in the game and pulling for the team. Ironically, happier times.
