You assume we wont play him under the current terms of the deal.No one is suggesting Spurs would do anything as a favour. As things stand we won't play him in 20 games, his contract will expire and so they won't get a penny for him. If we offered them 2m to play him til the end of the season they're perfectly entitled to say no but it's 2m they won't get any other way.
And we might not, but we also might.
So I suppose its up to Spurs if they want to gamble.
They can change the terms of the deal and get a possible 2m.
Or they can keep the current deal and get a possible 20m.
For me, if hes worth playing, hes worth playing, no matter the cost.
If hes not worth playing, then it doesnt really matter the cost.
