Wasn't you either !

Screw trying to be tactful. It was the person who said he was a Championship level player that annoyed me.

Its my opinion he is not good enough for us.
I have seen him play many times and dont rate him at all,i will support him and hope he comes good but like i say it is my opinion just like you have yours

People on this board make me cringe, declaring about a player after 2 appearances. Absolute joke.
ye spot on royston lad, the lads played 2 fooken games . hes done ok tired after an hour in both of them due to fitness levels .for what we have payed for him i think he will be ok .we payed close on 10 mill for the russian whos fuken awful and people keep banging on about him ffs

Agreed, £2m for a bloke who actually looks half decent doesn't sound like bas business to me. He can pass and move, and he made at least one cracking tackle I can remember yesterday.

But yeh lets **** him off anyway, cos he isn't Xavi or Iniesta.

Dodgy I say...ie that is defo mates rates for a favour or two

On the rumour mill yesterday; I heard the small fee may actually be nothing up front except for add-ons at a later date, and for this privilege Man United have first refusal on either Baines, Rodwell, Felliani or Barkley if Everton where ever to sell any of them in the near future. How true this I don't know, only time will tell

Incidentally to this, QPR made a £2m offer to United for Gibson but he turned it down (and higher wage) in favor for a move to us, so big up to the lad for that.

Yet he turned down a higher amount and fee to go to Sunderland...

But theyll accept 500k from us? No chance.

Defo sweetners on that deal

QPR are in mither & Ferguson might have warned against hooking up with sparky. It also meant staying in the northwest with a side that has been pushing Europa League placings.

Why wouldn't Fergie accept 500k? Gibson was never going to play for him again, he only had 6 months left on his contract and obviously made it clear he would not go to certain clubs no matter how much they were willing to pay. Fergie was in no position to do anything about it and probably thought 500k is better than £0.

They turned down 500k for Morrison whos in the samr, boat and hes not near the 1st team, and wanting more money

Ravel Morrison is a completely different proposition to Gibson. He's a real talent and has a large value to Utd as he's under 21.

They will want to maximise their income from him, but SAF probably wants rid given the reporting on recent events and how it seems he's effectively washed his hands of him. A tribunal fee wouldn't get United what SAF perceives to be a fair value, so he certainly won't take £500k for him.

It nonsense, first option? What does that term even mean in British football?

If everton ever decide to sell up Rodwell, Fellaini or Barkley in the near future then Man Utd will be at the front of the queue regardless.
