Thought he was poor to be honest, lacks the athletism Rodwell has, stands way too far off his man.

Better than having Neville there, but no doubt he has the hallmarks of a Moyes untouchable, and we will now never see Barkley.
 
Not good enough for everton he is a championship player at best.
Yeah he is better than neville and heitinga in midfield but so is my auntie fanny and she only has one leg
 
Last week he did alright for not having trained with the team. This week he wasn't as good but he worked pretty hard. Especially when he tracked back and made that big tackle.

I think as he gets used to our squad and how they play, and he continues to get sharper from playing regular games he will be good for us. At 500k, I still think he is a pretty good deal.

I'am not judging him after two appearances , I think he's done ok, I've watched him at least 12 times prob 3/4 games against us and I don't think we needed him, whether he has pre season or not he's no creativity at all, and we lack it more than anything, its no coincidence since Arteta and Pienarr left we couldn't create an omelette,

Screw trying to be tactful. It was the person who said he was a Championship level player that annoyed me.
 
I thought he was ok however considering our tactics made sure the ball bypassed our midfield it was hard for him to get involved more
 
Been two games. Going to wait on this one. Still better than Heitinga or Neville as alternatives. Square pass better than back pass.

I knew it wasn't aimed at me, I was just telling ya what I thought on him, you can't judge a player based on two games ..... Well Straqularsi maybe ,
Just in case people thought I was being unfair, the lads well worth the money we paid but I still wouldn't have signed him, it's not his fault Everton lack players with invention, that Junior Hoilett would be a good signing for us, he's on a free in the summer apparently , we'll still have no chance because we have Bill Kenwright as chairman
