I’d actually be excited to see what Dyche could do if we survive this season and give him a few weapons upfront next season.

There’s a solid base being built there and let’s be honest we conceded two goals at Chelsea from two mistakes. It doesn’t take much to cut out the mistakes and increase our potency at the other end. We absolutely muller Forest away if we had some better attackers for example.

The only team that has run through us is Arsenal. Every other game we could have turned them significantly in our favour if we had more of a potent threat upfront and took some chances, especially the Villa game. Even in the Arsenal game we had chances on the counter before the first goal, it’s a different game if one of those goes in.

The thing that impresses me most about Dyche mate is the change in the players mentality, especially in the last two away games.

Against Forrest i think we previously would have wilted, in that atmosphere and when they clawed us back, again last night we went on the front foot as much as the quality allowed, asked questions, after two sucker punches and pulled out an unlikely result, doing it is reinforcing of the mentality in the face of adversity and kills the away form heebee jeebies.

You know i think many have pointed out and at times been critical of Dyche and the lateness of his subs, but you know what i think its purposeful, i think hes actually leaving players out there and asking questions of mentality, letting them fight their way games and building skills around it and a mentality.

The more I think about the other teams starting to drop, and our moderately resurgent form, the more angry I get at the decision not to make the managerial change after Bournemouth - it’s all ‘ifs and buts’ but I think we’d be a considerable number of points better off
80% of people on here wanted Lampard to stay. EIGHTY PERCENT.

I agree with this …..whilst the protests were and continue to be valid, I think in the glare of the spotlight focussing on the Boards incompetence and the narrative about the number of managers sacked, the Board froze and failed to make the decision that should have been made at the time it should have been made
Have some sympathy they were all getting headlocked just out of view of any cctv, witnesses or camera phone.

Wasn't a point I saw us getting and I don't think the probability models saw us getting one either. We went from about 50% probability of relegation yesterday to 40% by the end of the day. In other words, despite the Southampton and Leicester draws and Leeds's unexpected win, yesterday was a good day for us.

Jarg analysis time.

I think if you’re Forest or Palace, you’re as worried as anyone right now. Can see them being in the bottom 3 in the next few weeks. Forest have tons of injuries and a championship squad, and Palace are facing the prospect of Woy and a have a squad with a questionable attitude.

Said it a few times recently but I think despite being bottom Southampton will survive. They’ve still got confidence and belief. Based on fixtures and squad strength I think Wolves will be fine. West Ham simply aren’t going down, they’ll win their next 2 home games.

Leicester can’t defend for toffee so could be bang in trouble hopefully. Hoping they stick with Brenda, but even if they twist the options are bleak.

Leeds and Bournemouth are in a very similar boat to us form wise, and like us, could easy put 2 or 3 wins together to be OK.

Prediction: Forest, Palace and Bournemouth to go down.
That would make for a nice payout if you parlayed them to go down.

Not forgetting the Notts Forest loss on Friday which could be massive. Tough home games coming up for them, although they do have 3 points coming their way courtesy of our loveable neighbors

We are just 1 bad weekend/game away from the pressure ramping right back up again which is why it's absolutely vital to be nicking unlikely points like last night.

That'll feel like a massive point for the players. Chance now to get Patterson, Garner and DCL fully integrated and up to speed in the squad now before Spurs.

Monday night, under rhe lights....could be absolute cracker!!

In the meantime, come on Arsenal!!

Leeds have benefited massively from changing manager, 7 points in 4 games since they changed.

I think the biggest question mark now is what Palace do and if it goes bad they could be in big trouble, i think Bournemouth will regret not changing.

A lot of work for everyone to do but Nottingham Forest are a bad side every time i've watched them i still think they'll end up going down with Bournemouth and probably Southampton.
