In think Palace were always getting safe. I'm not too concerned by them. (If they fail to get a bounce and dont take advantage of the 'winnable' games they have, great. I'd welcome that.) Same with Wolves. They're getting safe.

S'ton and Forest are my bankers to go down. If Spurs beat S'ton today or even take a point, I cant see them getting off the bottom of the table again. And Forest look increasingly in free-fall with a battered squad.

But I think the core of this relegation fight is now beginning to take shape: one place in the bottom three to be taken by one from Leicester, Everton, West Ham, Leeds and Bournemouth.

We have to just focus on getting 3 wins and forget the others. I'd be confident of at least two of those other teams in the core fight not being able to match us.

Agreed mate, our job of work is to maintain the points return in the last 5, if we do that we're fine. Real test over the next three is to maintain what we've done - more the structures Dyche has implemented and the character hes instilled. What hasn't been mentioned is how well we did following the Arsenal game not to melt, but rebound to get 4 point from the next two.

I tend to agree on Palace and Wolves, if they hit bad form or injuries all the better but being on 27/28 at the moment you would be confident of getting 36-38, both however have important roles to play, we are getting to the 6 pointer games - Wolves over the next two have Leeds and Forrest. While Palace as above have Leicester, Us ,WHU, Bourmouth and Forrest at home. They also have Leeds and Southampton away. while both Wolves and Palace might pull clear, they will have to take points and chalk games off rivals for relegation to do it - that just may be their role in this dynamic.

Yep. For that reason you doont want to see either Wolves or Palace get too comfortable, slackening off and handing points out to those below (apart from us!). I dont think that's the space either Wolves and Palace will be in for a good few games yet, but we could do with all the 'core 5' plus Wolves and Palace to remain as compact as possible to avoid that possibility.

As for us: if we get back to back home wins against Spurs and Fulham we'll be on our way out of this mess.

And as for today: by 5.30pm we could be in a situation that all our rivals at the bottom bar Wolves have not picked up points and Chelsea is a free hit.

There is going to big results over the next three when we are up against it fixture wise - if we come out reasonably in touch by one result we will have done well in my opinion, that's going to take 3/4 points in the next 3, if others don't capitalize on our fixture run at the moment id be very confident the far side of Utd as others tough fixture runs are to come.

Today, we need to disrupt, Chelsea arent as fluid as years gone by and they arent without their own pressures - especially at home. If we can frustrate them and let the pressure build there may be a result on the table. Its the pockets of space we need to be careful off in front of the back four, Felix and Harvetz can thrive there and we need good awareness of communication as to who is picking them up, between the midfield and defenders. we need a big shift from the full backs and Iwobi and McNeill today to, painfully Chilwell has been dropping shapes as they return from fitness in the last couple of weeks - hopefully James misses this one to.

I like the way the 4 games before ours all have one team behind us, meaning before we play a bit of pressure could be off.
I dont like West Ham not playing, they will now have two games in hand on us

Yep. The task today is to get on the scoresheet and then defend to the death in numbers.

We did it to a better City team so no reason we cant today.

Games in hand do not = points in hand, particularly when you are scrapping in the basement...
