”If” we make it through and achieve survival this season, the summer(and I know we said it after last season too)requires a total root/branch clear out from top to bottom, whether Moshiri is still at the wheel or not,I like the rest of you on here and Evertonians everywhere are sick of the total dismantling/immobilisation/watering down of a proud, historic footballing institution to where we stand nowadays,a laughing stock that the assorted media take pleasure in belittling, enough has to be enough,I thought we had reached a watershed finally after Palace last season, obviously not, let’s start the first steps in bringing NSNO back to our beloved club.
If we stay up I think we'll see less player turnover than last summer. The defensive and midfield options are decent enough, maybe a full back and a more creative midfielder if possible but we don't want to spread what budget we have too thin so I don't expect massive turnover in either department - we know that recruitment has to be focussed on attackers. I'd rather bring in a couple of attackers of genuinely high quality for decent money than spread things among 7 or 8 new players like last summer.

Id agree, I think the midfield is much improved, and defensively we are more solid. Id expect to bring in maybe 1 midfielder, 1 defender with the real focus being up top with a striker and winger. The goal next season is likely to be a comfortably mid-table team.

Again it shows we should have sacked Frank after the Bournemouth fiasco.
Yep. I confess I thought he should be given the Wolves game at the time.

He defo had to go after that.

If Kenwright was in charge Lampard would still be here. That's one thing we have to 'thank' Moshiri for I suppose.

The main reason I think 37 or so rather than 40 is because there are so many head to heads left between the sides in our mini league of 9 teams.

And when we all play each other then points are dropped by someone or both teams. The more teams involved for as long as possible, the better our chances.
Yes I don’t think it will be anything like 40 needed, I think maybe even 35 might be enough this season. Just hope we have more than at least three others.

The utter tat around us.
Southampton and Bournemouth looked nailed on to go. In recent weeks they have done ok look better than a few teams. I think Forest are the team that’s going to drop like a stone they are defensively weak and it’s starting to show. Palace can’t seem to win. Lots of twists and turns yet but If we can climb above Forest and Palace I can’t see them getting back past us.

Southampton are still in a lot of trouble though.
