The next three are tough games, and we’ve played a game more than most of our relegation rivals.

I’m still very optimistic we can stay up, though. Calvert-Lewin coming back will be a huge boost, and if a few of the others can start actually slotting when it’s harder to not score, we should be ok.

Imagine how many extra points we’d have if Onana or Doucoure could actually get a shot on target without falling over for no reason whatsoever.

On a positive note to end the day, our form since Dyche took over is WLWLLDW = 10 Points out of 21 and there were some pretty tough opponents among them 7 games.

We have 11 games remaining so if we at minimum continue on our current form, then we may accumulate another 15 points or so which would take us to 40 points which would probably be enough to stay up.

Nite blues. ;)
I imagine 35 or 36 will be enough this year.

The next 3 games are ‘expected defeats’, so I wouldn’t bother bringing DCL back for them if fit. Wait until we’ve got some games which we don’t expect defeat and throw him in then.

We should be targeting 3 or 4 points minimum next 3 games. Chelsea aren’t great and Spurs are up and down. United away will be tough.

DCL will probably never be fully fit in this run in. At some point we have to play him. If you rest him against Chelsea he’ll have been out 2 months.

I think DCL will need to regain his fitness levels, so we may want to start giving him a 30 min. run out in some of these games to build his endurance and get him ready to start and play the better part of 90 minutes in some critical games down the stretch.

The table is so tight. We are 2 points off 12th, but if the teams below us win their games in hand, we go bottom of the table.

You would have to think Moyes will be sacked if they get beat today. A new manager may give a lift and fire them up the table as they have some good players. However they may get the wrong manager in and it could be disastrous. Hopefully it’s the latter.
I hope they'll do the stupid and go for interim Noble for some Iron ethos and bang---------> down.
