Surely though the quality of a player bought should be better than one you would get on loan otherwise every team would go for a loan every time , must be desperate now if Everton are challenging footballi science to blag head why there not buying anyone hahahah
I think our situation is massively complicated by the stadium. Noone has ever been half way through a build, threatened by relegation and still yet to have the final third of funding secured.

Just to clarify, I said that we are unlikely to do any permanent inbound transfers, what business we do will be loans.
Time will tell whether that is the case
Well done sherlock...less than 24 hours to deadline of course we are looking for loans...educated guess based on the time left for any permanent signing as well as the well documented troubles for the club unable to close any deals. There could be a permanent signing but yeah it's not going to be a club record.

As mentioned on the space, there are at least 2 major factors (i) there's no guarantee buying a player is any more effective than receiving a loan player, and if we were to be relegated then buying a permanent player is a much worse decision than returning a loan player, and (ii) there's no guarantee that funding is in place for the next stadium obligations. The 2 factors combined may represent a stronger case for loans rather than purchases
