If Rafael did that he was right too, maybe im missing something, that window we only had 1.8m to spend, can you explain to me how we could of bought a player that was sold accoring to Wikipedia for £37.5 million with £12.5 million add-ons ?

Nice try but this all but confirms what a good job Rafael was doing and how he was well ahead of the curve, imagine if we had of bought Diaz, the following summer we had to sell Richarlsion because we were in it so deep, but you or rather Brands wanted to blow another 37m that we couldnt afford? if this news is true it fully confirms I was right all along and blows out the water the few he still have lingering doubts about Rafael.
He knew what he was doing and would of made a great DOF for us

Unfortunately we employed him as a manager
 

I am is so easy to see what this team needs and again like the striker problems from the start of the season and goals. Seeing other teams going for it bringing players in and again ththis club is left behind. Then if frank goes will that again change what players come into the club
