Well a bit of a story ,yes the two slices we had were lovely but I made it to use with a cheese fondue we bought from Lidl and the bread needs to be stale , we haven't had that yet .The smell however was fantastic.

Morning @blue1948 yep there are times I wake early … though we’re an hour ahead of uk … these days I don’t fight it … audio book on and sort of snooze or listen to books for the last couple of hours then up and at it at 6 ish
Never was a late sleeper I guess 25 years soldiering fixed that routine

Probably missed it but never knew you were a soldier.

That’s some back story mate; army, guitar maker and artist. Fair play.

I hope you don’t mind me giving an opinion. I love art and own an art gallery. Both my son and daughter, and now my 9 year old granddaughter are accomplished artists. I love the subject. I love the movement, but it feels unfinished, dare I say crude. It’s a great picture but it feels rushed and unfinished. I can only apologise for my comments, but when it comes to art I have to speak as I see…..

The period between Christmas and New Year is always a bit weird. I normally get a bit down waking up on St Stephen’s Day but this year was just calm. I dread taking the lights down both mentally and lazily but this year I’m good with it, had a lovely time.

Tellingly my loved ones know how much of a child I am at Christmas and have bought me candles and wax burners to see in the New Year. It’s nice to know that all your little nuances are understood and encouraged by those who know you best.
