Good afternoon all. Hope you are having a lovely weekend. @Armaghtoffee hope you are starting to feel a bit better. I've heard a few people say that vivid dreams were a symptom of COVID. @Barnfred 55 no sympathy whatsoever. I'm sure you could prise the blonde away from the toyboy if you tried - a man of your sparkling wit and personality. No competition! ?
I did overtime, went to the gym in the middle of it. Sweaty Saturday cardio session then a PT session. I'm knackered, got my pjs on already. Mr F is very excited because it's the Breeders Cup tonight. His favourite race meeting of the year. I'm being kind and letting him watch it all even though some of it clashes with the Everton match. He also wants to have an American themed tea to match the occasion- burgers and hot dogs it is! We've also got waffles ice cream and maple syrup.
It's freezing here today. We've had the heating on nearly all day.

We have finished watching "The walk in " and I have taken a few days to digest it ,growing up in those times when it was everywhere the hatred / dislike for anyone unlike themselves .
I was influenced by a joiner who worked at the place I served my apprenticeship "We signed to be in by 9pm , those were the days"he was from Jamaica and great fella ,good joiner and a steady kind of bloke .He was about 15 years older than me and I didn't know his kids although they lived just a few streets away .So I am glad to say that the hatred never saw light of day with me but I was still shocked by the series . The thing that stuck in my craw was that there are more prossecutions for white terrorism than any other .
Now we are almost at the end of "This England " and that has me wound up tighter than a clock spring on a Sunday night.No spoilers but both worth a watch .

The stone is rare and the wife heard it was local to where she was born but apparently it is more widespread but may be it is unique to Finland ,I don't know .The reason people are moving down is for work .A lot of the wood trade has gone with the demand for paper dropping and the Finnish government has decided that for one reason or other to concentrate the populus in the south around five or six cities .As it is more economical tending the services in a smaller area .

I went to Poland for the Euros in 2012 and was stopped leaving a pub in Gdańsk by a bloke who said to his mate “ See , I told you, wherever there’s a match on you’ll find an Evertonian”. One of the few times I’ve worn an EFC shirt , met plenty of Irish blues during the day as they were playing Spain that night.
Good morning all on this overcast day in Finland ,quite warm for the time of year but damp and cloudy .I hope all had a good night and it would be nice to see a post from @jazzy . I thought Leicester were a lot hungrier than us yesterday ,it seems as though a few have started their break already and once again a few let us down.
The main point I have to make is that Frank is showing in his interviews how he feels the match will go and he seems to get it right most of the time but I have a feeling the players are buying into the comments and getting that is what he expects ,even when it is obvious he expects us to lose .
Realism is omne thing and for that he seems to be on the button ,transfering those thoughts to the players is bad.COYB

Morning all, cloudy morning here, reflecting the mood after yesterday. I think we got what we deserved but not going to dwell on it. Hope you are feeling better today @Armaghtoffee. How’s things @Terrarian, hope that you are coping ok with the meds. Can’t believe you gave in that easily, @Barnfred 55 you should have turned on the Terry Thomas charm, you would have been irresistible lol. I’m off to a model railway exhibition this morning, I just can’t keep away from trains at the moment, have a good day all. Choo choo ??

Nevertheless it was shocking ,the lies and deceit ,the we are above it all that they showed should be punishable in law .
I am getting older and yes I know it shows in my attitude to some things , the way we all know things that we might never have been told is sorting out the rats that want to live by a different set of rules ,is this a benefit or would we be better not knowing ? This is a time we could have benefitted by an input from @jazzy
