Are you sure, Mitrovic should have had a double hat trick ! Thank fcuk his finishing didn't match his positional paly !

I hate using the xG metric as a legitimate form of discussion but some of those chances wouldn't have score too highly on that. About five minutes left when he peeled off the CBs and had a volley that went miles off the bar is a very difficult chance and there was another header that was very difficult to direct on target and it flew well wide.

I think given how he's hit the ground running this time in prem he was handled pretty well today by the CBs so I wouldn't be shaking in fear at facing Kieffer Moore in two weeks. The Leicester attackers next week will be a different type of challenge though.

Infact break it down and away games go like this:

Bournemouth- two weeks time.

Man. City- NYE

Arsenal away- probably played in mid January.

West Ham

RS- early Feb.

Forest- March 4th.

Chelsea and Man. United take things up to late April.

Don't win at Bournemouth and could easily become 1 win in 14-15 games bar a shock result.
Not pretty reading that. Think we are going to be reliant on Goodison again.

The relegation fight is becoming harder and harder every year. Real danger to be left behind so we need to strike gold in the next few transfers windows to try get away once and for all from the bottom of the table.

It is when you consider Forest beat Liverpool, City.only narrowly beat Leicester, no rubbish in the PL
No joke, Man City made 0% of tackles in the first half and still had 66% possession.

Man City were poor today (I was there unfortunately) but Leicester were utterly atrocious. MOTD will show a spirited fight back but they did nothing until 80mins, then won a few throw ins and had a couple of shots and the miserable crowd finally started clapping a bit. They were so so deep and defensive and whenever they won the ball, usually when taking a goal kick after a City miss, they gave it away immediately.

Our ropey performance today was light years ahead of what Leicester served up. I had free tickets and thought I may as well go in case Haaland was fit, it still really peed me off watching such soulless cack. If we start quickly, there are no excuses.

There are more average teams than usual this season. But the worst teams are also better than in previous years. This is going to stay tight till well into the spring.

We need to keep taking it game by game and get more points on the board by the WC.
