Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this dark and damp morning here in Hyvinkää. I hope all had a good night and have a fine day today .The boys did us proun yesterday andthe score didn't flatter us .I have been waiting for a game where we were the best both halves and yesterday that was the case .
I once again gave the MOM to Alex Iwobi ,it feels so good as I would have got rid before Frank came ,now he is one of the first names on the sheet .One report said that they didn't turn up ( palace) but the truth was they were outplayed .
A special mention to Seamus ,I didn't realise football shorts had a pocket ! but that is where Wilf was all the game ,a special performance from Seamus Coleman.
Have a great day today COYB.

Good morning all. Good result yesterday means the negativity is only slightly les vitriolic from some lol I think some just really really enjoy being gloomy all the time.

I don't know what it is like where you live but round here, I started noticing last year the amount of different fungus growing all over the streets. All sorts of weird an wonderful colours and shapes. Has to be the climate that surely as never seen it until last year. I will start taking pics. Weirdly Daisy doesn't try and eat them.

I took these today, just from going around the block but there's bigger and better ones than these

Have a good Sunday, I'm trying to decide for tea do i have chicken satay or Korean BBQ chicken? I got some of those Blue Dragon packs ideal for just me rather than a big jar.

The spores can lie dormant for years nust don't eat and don't touch as some are caustic and will cause you pain .

Yeah, not a chance I would eat a mushroom I didn't know were safe. I'm a bit surprised Daisy doesn't try and eat them though, she tries everything else. I'm even anxious about avian flu because she eats bird poo, she's disgusting ?

Good afternoon all. It's pouring down here. Very gloomy day. My daughter woke up this morning with the beginnings of tonsillitis. She's always been prone to it and I'm sure this is related to the upcoming changes in her life - she starts her new job tomorrow. Swapping from from a placement officer in a fostering agency to a prison officer in a young offenders prison. Anyway she rang 111, (non emergency NHS helpline for our non UK blues) got told to go to a pharmacy who would sort her out. Went to the place they advised who said they couldn't prescribe antibiotics, she needed to got to a walk in centre. She rang 111 back, they told her to go to Durham and they had made her an appointment. She went to Durham at the right time only to discover her appointment was at bishop Auckland - about 15 miles away. She said the nurse in Durham was furious - said 111 always do this but did agree to see her. So, she now has a prescription and just needs to find an open pharmacy. The NHS may be great on treatment but their organisation/admin is rubbish.

I'm still very happy about yesterday's result. if we beat Fulham next week and pick up a few more points before the World Cup, things will be pretty good to come back to. If DCL makes the England squad then it means he's been scoring goals which will be good for us.

Enjoy your Sunday folks

Hope your daughter starts to feel better soon and good luck to her in her new job. Have had one or two experiences with111 which were not that good. I think they are mostly call centre staff who read from a script.
Sounds as though you have the rain which was here this morning, belted down until about 1pm, sun is out now, hope it clears away for you soon.
