Good morning or not by the sounds of it, injuries yet again crippling us, that's the entire back line that started the season except Tarkowski who are injured, mental that again. That's why he bought Tarkowski I guess, Patterson and Mykolenko are a bit of a sucker punch though, although don't think it's too bad for him.

I started watching Auf Weidersehn Pet this morning, brings back memories, it's still funny if a bit dated obviously.

And the first prepared Gravlax . This will be used on rye bread then as eggs romano then in a salmon casserole on Sunday . I had to trust the wife to take the photo as my hands were lurking full of fish oil .It is salted sugared and dill . I now have boiled the trimmings and will pick what meat is left to use in a soup. We have calculated that will get more than 30 plates of food from this fish ,so less than 1€ per plate for the main ingredient.View attachment 184796

It stems from being a hungry lad I suppose but I try not to waste anything and love foraging ,this year has been very poor but still time yet . I don't see the point of throwing good food away no matter how the finances are. Today we are off scrumping and it is Apple crumble for dessert topped of course with ice cream .

I had sausage rolls from Lidl last night mate. By the time I woke up it was the only place around here still open?

It stems from being a hungry lad I suppose but I try not to waste anything and love foraging ,this year has been very poor but still time yet . I don't see the point of throwing good food away no matter how the finances are. Today we are off scrumping and it is Apple crumble for dessert topped of course with ice cream .

I haven't had a good scrump in ages.

Morning guys. My morning hangover is getting progressively worse each day. Out with the boys tonight and the family tomorrow so things won't be improving any time soon?. It's self inflicted however so no complaints from me when the likes if T have to put up with this on a daily basis.

Not been in the thread as I am quite squeamish, but did Tommye really cut his own finger off? I did risk popping into the Roydo thread and it looks like he's getting plenty of moral support on here. Not ?

Spent a really enjoyable afternoon with Harry yesterday. He's a great lad and an even greater Blue. He had some great stories to tell and we had a hoot. We both knew the bar owner who I think gave us a bill just for show, so we ended up just tipping the waiter, who hadn't actually served us any drinks but is a great guy (and Blue) who we have both known for probably about 20 years..

As it was peeing down I then got a taxi back to my hotel which is near the airport. Turns out the taxi driver was one of my old amateur football mates from over 30 years ago and he recognised instantly which is good. Now if you want to know what a bounder is H you need look no further than this guy? Having said that he only charged me a tenner when the meter was saying £20 so quite a cheap day out in the end.

It got me thinking that many of us travel up, down and across to Liverpool on a fairly regular basis. Wouldn't it be great if we could one day synchronise our visits and organise a Messy reunion. Think it would be a very apt tribute to the great man.

Anyway, have a great day guys. Don't think I'll be on the G&Ts with the lads tonight but I had a G&T lunch with Cal's 2 best mates the other day so not feeling overly guilty.

He most certainly did. I dived in before the NSFW tag and spoiler tags, too. Not sure what I expected, to be honest. The guy had the presence of mind to take a photo from every conceivable angle. My prawn risotto almost reappeared.

I love the fact that his thought process whilst sitting in A and E was I must get pics of this for GOT! Absolute class but I'm also thinking probably in shock.
