The Toffees are reportedly interested in signing French midfielder N’Golo Kante this month.
David Moyes is yet to make a signing this window with less than a fortnight remaining before the deadline.
Countless strikers have been linked with the Blues, and the need for investment at full-back has been well documented.
However, reports in Turkish outlet Sabah state that midfield reinforcements could arrive before the end of the month.
Indeed, Everton have reportedly expressed an interest in bringing N’Golo Kante back to the Premier League.
COULD EVERTON BRING KANTE BACK TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE THIS MONTH?
The former Leicester City and Chelsea midfielder has been playing for Al-Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League since 2023.
The French World Cup winner has less than six months remaining on his current deal.
Turkish side Fenerbahçe has reportedly agreed terms with the player. However, they’re reluctant to pay Al-Ittihad’s asking price, with such little time left on the contract.
According to reports, Everton would be willing to pay the fee, as would West Ham. A number of unnamed Ligue 1 clubs are also preparing an offer.
Meanwhile, the Toffees could be without loanee Jack Grealish for a period of time, with the 30-year-old suffering a stress fracture to his foot.
It shouldn’t come as a surprise, given how often the winger is fouled week in, week out.
Indeed, Grealish’s former side Aston Villa appeared to take it in turns to foul the England international, a tactic often used to avoid receiving a booking for persistent fouling.
The total absence of any form of protection from the officials has cost Everton our most creative player.
Could Grealish’s absence tempt Moyes into the market for a winger?
